    ---- THREAD CLOSED 04/13/2015 ----

Over the past couple of years, so many rank-shattering, zoologically-inspired Google algorithm updates have come and gone that the people who have to deal with this crap as a threat to their livelihood have taken to (not so) affectionately calling this phenomenon "The Google Animals". Never before - in the entirety of human history - had "penguins" and "pandas" managed to strike such fear into people's hearts. Each and every SEO-specialist on the planet who had not thrown in their towel was coerced into joining one of two camps regarding how they would proceed:

On one hand; the "sand-castle-builders" who reasoned that, as these algorithm updates were completely beyond their control, they would build new sites, fleeting and ephemeral, that would get "washed away" with the ebb and flow of each new algorithm. These individuals are in it for the short term gains, they put in just enough time, money, and effort to get their sites to rank in that brief window of time between updates. They stick to a "no-regrets" line of thinking, and simply rebuild rather than try to retain.

On the other hand, there's the "fortress-builders", people who have poured in the painstaking amount of time, money, and effort needed to make sure that their websites rank and stay ranked. If the former group built their castles with sand, these people build their castles with stone. No matter how many waves crash against their fortresses, they remain steadfast, (mostly) unaffected by whatever gets thrown at them.

All of these "fortresses" have one uncanny resemblance: they all have high-PR links from reputable sources in their spectrum of backlinks. The power of high-PR links is no secret; they mean that websites - that have been vouched for as being of distinguished quality by Google themselves - are willing to attest that your own website is just as reputable as theirs. High quality backlinks are the internet equivalent of what would happen if all the most popular cliques in high school suddenly decided that you were the hottest thing since sliced bread.

So? If high-PR links are such crazily efficacious powerhouses of authority and distinguishment, why isn't everyone milking them dry for results? Simple; for the most part, high-PR back links are inhibitively expensive. Ranking a site that has moderate competition is child's play when compared to the amount of sweat, blood, and tears that go into making a site a high-PR one. There's no gaming that system, except by using the system itself. For the most part, is only with links from other, high-PR sites that you can bolster your own site's PR.

Luckily though, thanks to our service, the unavailability of high-PR sites is a thing of the past. We've gone against everything the world of SERP ranking would have you expect to make sure that our high PR domains are among the most competitively priced on the market. Isn't it time you stopped building flimsy "sandcastles" and started building dependable fortresses of your own by buying high pr domains?

just so I understand in this service you provide the link to an auction, which we then have to bid on? so we may not win it, is that right

No you don't have to bid on it.. It's a closeout auction so you can buy the domain without making any bids
