Hi, folks. Here's how I shop for domains on the auction.

    Things you'll need:
    Domain auction (Godaddy for this)
Keyword Research tool with batch analysis (I'm using Serpstat)
Ahrefs (Or any other backlink analysis tool)

Step 1. Get a list of domains

Set parameters like price, region, desired tld etc. Also set it to show 200 results.

Copypaste into spreadsheet so you can copy the list of addresses:

Step 2. Analyze the addresses with batch analysis tool.

(I set the tool to show organic keyword data for these domains in US)

    My top dog:

Step 3. Check what pages rank and for what keywords:

1st and 2nd page for some of the good ones, this page should stay for sure.

    Step 4. Check backlinks:

187 best result from the pack.

    Step 5:
Move onto the next 200 domains and pick another winner. Repeat as long as you wish, pick the one you like and you're set.

Always check what pages rank for the good keywords and recreate these pages with the same addresses, then setup 301.

I did not get the last part of 301, why not just recreate the page and keep the rankings. Push it up further with your own set of SEO. Is there more to it with 301 than what i see

You're absolutely right, it's just that I usually do this to boost my main website and I was thinking in that category. But what you said is also a very valid tactic.

I guess you have to determine how much you want to pay for the domain, no tool will help you with that :D

Yes, agree. Too many people are addicted to buying and depending on tools for everything to do with online marketing.

You'll have to be the judge on that. Compare domains and their prices, see which ones are in better condition. Just like you'd do with buying a car.

Also, unrelated to your question, but the tool I used in this method - Serpstat, they added their own backlink analysis too and dropped the price to $19. So you can do it in one place.

I wish they had a free trial.
Anyways about how many good domains do you find per 1000 checked?

Good guide. It should be automated in a desktop software with SEM Rush, but I don't think there's enough demand.

I usually find what I'mooing for in the first 400 (or 2 queries) but I set stricter requirements on auctions, because I know exactly what to look for.

I used to just adrress their support and ask for a demo access to try the tool, pretend to be a blogger or seo specialists trying a new thing.

I'm looking at their pricing. It says 100 queries and 100 results per report. What is that.
Is 1 query 200 domains or what?
