Business Owner sues yelper for a bad review (backfire)

I thing that the company should sort things out with the customer without filing a lawsuit. It is insane...
 
Any business owner who goes directly to litigation in lieu of sorting a bad review out with the customer is not someone I would ever do business with. They clearly do not have the skill set to properly handle human interactions if their response to negative reviews about their abysmal services is to charge or sue their unsatisfied customers for being unsatisfied.

It's a good thing states like California have made this illegal.
 
How can you sue someone for their opinion? This is ridiculous and the $50,000 that was slapped on the lawsuit is crazy. They deserve to go out of business now. They should be happy they got 2 stars from them and not 1 star.
