I am filling out an affiliate application using my business name. I am doing this to set up a second account, however the application ask for my first and last name. What to do?

Just use an "employees" name. :)

thanks man...giggity lol

on second thought could I get into any legal trouble using an "employees name".

If the form is for tax info, you may get in trouble since it's the IRS you're technically messing with. That said, the affiliate network may not cross reference the form with ones they've gotten in the past.

If the form is just for the affiliate network, then nah, worst case scenario is you've broken their ToS and may get banned but you've done nothing illegal.

Just to let you know, I've actually applied for affiliate networks with my legal name twice; once as me, once as my company, with no problems.

The tax info should be for my business. Its asking for a first and last name as well as company info.

Actually its just for contact info

I'd say it's safe to just put your real name.
If you still feel a bit wary, just put in a nickname or something;
like if your name is James, put in Jim even if you don't normally go by Jim.

Well, not to toot my own horn here but what you do is incorporate and appoint anyone you like as the business agent for your corporation. Get an EIN for the corporation and set up a corporate bank account. Use whatever phone you want for the corporate contact and you are anonymous.

I have an EIN and a bank account under my assumed name. Can I still do this with just a DBA.

appoint someone for my contact info as you stated you may do with incorporation.

As a DBA what means YOU are the guy. When they find out that YOU, DBA, whatever company have someone else representing you, they may well can you, I dunno.

Thanks uptown. There are a bunch of guys whom say that they have like 10 epn accounts or 3 neverblueads accounts. They cant be spending money to incorporate for each seperate account.

not just trying to bump but any ideas or other work arounds?
