I'm thinking of changing my Internet Connection wich is around 100Mb/s to a business connection of 10Gb/s.If I get a good server, will be worth to pay 150$/month for this speed only? Considering that i'll use xrummer, scrapebox and many other bots..

If the CPU of the server can handle a lot of threads...than i think it`s worth it.
Still depends on you...are you using those tools non-stop?

I'll be using an i7 CPU

I'm thinking of using them non stop, but I have a Major concern.

The internet provider can guarantee me a huge speed, but since i'll have to use a lot of private proxies, will they be able to work at the same speed?

it totally depends whats your proxies source, if they are proxies that are setup on a server with datacenter ips and they have fast enough connection to match your speed, then sure it should work i dont see why not.

But if you have private proxies from residential ips, aka botnet ips. Then it wont work, not a lot of residential ips have a fast internet connection to match your speed unless we are talking about those koreans then its another story.

Thanks! I guess i'll stick with my actual connection speed (100Mb/s),since I haven't saw any proxies untill now, beeing capable of handling more then 1gigabyte /sec

Your major concern there really would be actually fully utilizing all of that bandwidth. Most servers come with 1Gb/s Ethernet ports. 10Gb/s is fibre most of the time, or coaxial cable, it's not your typical Ethernet cable (RJ45). So that means you then have to pay for a NIC that is actually capable of 10Gb/s (£300+), and then hope that you have enough bandwidth on the internal buses of the server (I think it's more than do-able, but I can't really be bothered to check right now!) to actually use the connection to it's full potential.

A better solution (And probably cheaper and more effective too in the long run) would be to buy 10 Servers with Gb Ethernet and hook them up to a 10Gb Switch (Most 10Gb switches I have seen have 2 ports that can do 10Gb and the rest are 1Gb). Then use the 10Gb switch to connect to the internet. I'm not really sure how you would implement this though, and the initial setup cost would be quite high!

With regards to your proxy problem... This is why we use multi-threading! 10 x 100Mb proxies at full speed is 1000Mb (1Gb), so 100 x 100Mb proxies at full speed is 10000Mb(10Gb). Just crank the threads right up on your favourite bot. Problem solved!

Out of interest more than anything else, where on earth do you get that speed for that price? I've only ever seen those sort of speeds in Datacentres! (And it cost a hell of a lot more!)

I'd pay $150 a month for a 10Gb/s connection, easily! There MUST be some constraints?
