yea same here everything i learned in the begining was bum marketing, If you have a specific question I might be able to help, but otherwise time is money
 
Are you looking to get into Web 2.0? I'd start with squidoo, quizilla, or hubpages.

These all rank pretty well and there is an abundance of info on these forums if you use the search function.
 
It would help if you would ask a specific question. Don't really know what you need help with. :confused:
