Basically im looking for a program where I could merge or join movies in bulk.

I have a "clip a" which is the beginning titles and I want to join it with about 30 other movie clips named "clip b" "clip c" and etc. So I was wondering is there anything like this?

Basically those files should be made like this "Clip a + Clip b" and the file name should stay as clip b :)

Maybe someone has ideas or etc? :)

how could I join a large portion of movies automated with movie maker? :)

The point is that I need to merge or join a large number of movies so that each movie would always have the same beginning and etc.

Try searching for "video tools" here.. I'm sure you would find something you looking for.

You can use the free tool FFMPEG. I have used it several times. It can convert to nearly any format. Convert your videos to MPEG1 - join the files binary. Run FFMPEG to correct headers. Then it's done. It can all be automated - it's a command line tool.

seo20 - sorry, im not very familiar with command line tools and etc :) but If you would like to teach me, id love it :D

antonio - I have used VDub in the past but cant remember anything about scripts and etc. Do you have some handy examples? I know how I can use same filter settings on a punch of files, but where could I get a filter that freezes an image for "XX" Seconds and then plays the actual video or you have other ideas?

Go for Windows Movie Maker. Works clean and gives nice output. Or else Google a bit and there you can get loads of those stuffs for FREE..!!

BrianO - why do you come here and give an answer without reading or understanding the point! I would use windows movie maker, but it can not automatically generate 30 videos in a batch. And believe me, I have googled ins and outs, but have not found such app yet maybe havent used the correct keyword, but i cant figure out any better keywords than batch movie joiner, bulk movie joiner etc., hence the fact why im asking it here.

Next time just read previous posts and try to contribute a bit, not just throw words around, sorry if im harsh, but please read before.

I know this is an old thread. But I am looking exactly what OP described 7 years ago. A software that can join videos in bulk without selecting by hand file by file. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    thanks !
