After reading the thread "Zen19 - 40million in 10,000 Hours", I want to get my sites set up right and allow for better list building. Currently using Wordpress with a custom theme I made and E-Junkie. E-Junkie does make a list, but you can't send with html, so been leaving a lot of money on the table.

My current plan: Use Wordpress with Pagelines (already have it) + WP eStore + WP Affiliate Platform + Aweber (already have an account).

I believe they all can integrate well together and have good support. Also puts everything on my hosting account besides the list.

To those with knowledge and success, seem like a good plan?

I know ideal would be coding it myself. Not at that level. Next best might be having it coded, but I want to be able to make changes myself. Hence wordpress + plugins.

Shouldn't be too much to manage, 5 sites or less (nothing like the number Zen would have), selling services / virtual goods. I do know WP eStone has a function that allows you to place the buy button / links from one site on others, so that could make things interesting in the future if I want to expand.

Informed opinions and feedback are appreciated! Any better software or plugins? Or solid plan? Thanks!

PS. Yes, learned recently E-Junkie can be integrated with Aweber (d'oh!).

Looks like a good plan. Also, you can treat this as a learning experience by testing and improving along the way. All the best!

Thanks, hoping it allows for growth or changes in the future without completely rebuilding everything again. Don't 100% like the idea of relying on Wordpress, the maker of eStore and AP, and Aweber. But it is their business to serve us.
Thanks. Very true, just hopefully no need to rebuild later on, lol.
