Okay, I'll try to keep this short. I was a very active member here a few years ago. At that time, I was making quite a bit of money online by doing shady PPD stuff and other short term methods. This was a time in my life that I really enjoyed, but I knew that it couldn't keep going forever. After a while I decided to shift my focus on what I really wanted to do with my life, producing electronic music. I took action and applied to a audio- & music production university, in which I currently am going to. It's coming to an end in about a year from now, and I really need to prepare for my life after graduation. I've been running a YouTube channel since 2015, on which I've uploaded all kind of videos related to electronic music production. This has been mostly "open source" project files, tutorials and reviews of synths, effects etc. Through the years, this channels has given me quite a bit of opportunity of working with bigger and better producers, ghost production for DJ's and other freelance work that I really enjoy doing. This has been truly amazing since people have wanted to pay me for things I otherwise still would have been doing by my own, but I'd still prefer to work by myself and not for others. It has also given me a platform to connect with people who really supports my work and I've built an completely organic audience of a few thousand people who are exited for new content. Lately I've been thinking a lot about how I could turn this channel into something bigger. Ideally I would like to make it a real business and my primary source of income by this time next year, and I have a plan that I think may succeed. I also have the education, experience and lots of out of the box ideas that haven't been done before in this niche. I will keep this thread as a place to update and motivate myself (even though I have enough motivation already). I'll also use it to write down ideas and maybe bounce ideas with some of you guys who are into the same thing as me. So yeah, I'm really happy to be back on this forum and I'm confident that it will work out.
