Building Back links Questions!

This is my first time ever attempting to build back links to my website. I have a few questions though.

Questions:

1. Am I building back links the correct way? I have posted and advertised my website on reddit, craigslist, a forum, and now I have created a Tumblr.

2. When building back links do you create your account and just spam it with links back to your website or do you make high quality articles with the link
back to your website? Because on Tumblr I created an account reblogged somethings, liked, advertised my website, and put a few links to my website in my tumblr then logged out is that the right way?

3. What are some other good websites I can build back links from and blogs that have do follow guest postings.

4. An any other advice would help thanks guys!

1. Social media advertising is a great tactic to use to supplement your other inbound marketing efforts. That said, each comes with its own strengths and weaknesses, and acknowledging these can help you put out the most suitable, engaging content possible.

Social media advertising is able to target your audience in a wider variety of ways than other online platforms. It doesn't matter what industry you're in, social media is a tool you should be using everyday to interact with consumers. So, you are on right path.

2. Hope, you already know that the only way to move your site to the top of Google is to build high quality back links (and lots of them). So, don't just spam it like you said. I highly recommend you to stick with quality articles with the link back to your website.

There are an infinite number of places you could conceivably build backlinks for your website, and the vastness of the task can be paralyzing. But you have to start Google optimization some where.

3. Good, the best method we have used are guest posts and ******** blogs till yet. You could reach out to the blogs on your niche. For example, if you are in SEO niche, there are some of the blogs who accept topics related to Blogging and related topics.

Though, acceptance rate is very slow on many of them, for example, you need to come with a masterpiece of content to get your post published on sites like Problogger, Dailyblogtips. Also, it takes time to see your post getting published. So, depending upon your requirement, you should check with every blog acceptance guidelines.

If you could let know your niche, I can show few high quality blogs that accept guest posting. As we offer guest blogging service, it will not take much time.

You better learn more about characteristics of good link, how to do tiered linkbuilding etc. m how to build website authority .. there is plenty of material on this forum as well as on the net. Building low quality links directly to your site can only harm your site

Um why is my website receiving spam now. In the graphics section people are posting things about health, skin care, and law why is that? Graphic section has nothing to do with that kind of stuff. Do I delete it or keep it since it's content no matter what. An where the hell did these people come from?

Well I'm just going to move them to the miscellanous section of my website I guess. Since it's still content.

Of course, either you could delete it or tell them to, do not post that kind of stuffs. You can also add the instructions on Terms & Conditions to avoid this. There are plenty of ways to notify them, you can also design the page to not post those stuffs.

You are right Not just the account gets banned, even the site gets spammed & penalized. OP, Be careful ! - BB

Be careful with posting on sites like reddit and other social sites like that- if you get caught promoting something illicitly, you can get banned and stuff like that. Just like you wouldn't spam on this forum, have to be careful about reddit/linkedin.

You must be trolling.. Why would you leave unrelated spam on your website? If you've been a member here for 2 years with 150 posts, you must know that's not a good idea.

Better to use adwords or fb ads to drive targetted traffic to your websites

I create high quality articles on different topics and I add 4-5 different links with one of my own link to get best results without spamming. I also use portfolio backlinks for ranking my site. Mostly guest blogging and guest posting play an important role in ranking site.
