Currently I have been planning on buying GSA but I'm torn between either:

A: Building a PBN of 5-10 domains (PR1 or high DA/PA) that are niche related

B: Buy GSA+Captcha Breaker and create Manual Web 2.0s that I would make niche related and do tiered link building via GSA and link back to my money site (scrape websites to post too etc)

I know a PBN would be stronger, but I would like to keep costs down but part of me feels that Web 2.0s aren't worth it?

Opinions, advice? I just don't want to buy GSA and find myself never using it.

This is like : i am hungry should i eat burger or pizza ??? main goal is treat your hunger...

similarly someway or other both PBN and GSA ser helps in ranking your site.
If you have idea about PBN then go for it otherwise go for GSA SER..
Investment of PBN will bring you nothing if you don't have idea how to build PBN and you will lose your investment.
But if you buy GSA SER even though you don't have any idea about GSA you can learn and use it for various purpose and your investment is not lost.
    Hope that helps

If you've got little money, go for GSA and do some BH campaigns until you get big money and can build niche related PBNs that are strong and decent.

There is no such thing as a mini PBN, you either build a fucking strong PBN full of content and quality or you just don't. Honestly, don't waste your time on a PBN if you don't have the resources. Also, it is an ongoing process, you can't just set it and forget it.

I'd go for GSA too. Building a PBN may fail anytime, but the license is for life. Asuming you just want to make your money back, you could sell some services generated with GSA on fiverr or something similar and you'll get your money back. Good luck!

If you're looking to save money, then GSA is your best option. Find dozens of lists shared throughout this forum and run through them. GSA has a number of filters that can help you post only to high authority sites.

I generally use GSA as a Tier 2 or Tier 3.

Otherwise a PBN is the way to go.

I would not spend your time setting up a PBN or Buying Gsa when people on here and me have PBN's Already.
So PM me or Look in the Link building area here for a service.

This, eventually you're gonna want to be using the whole world of SEO tools including PBN's and GSA.

If you're on a budget then GSA is probably the best bang for your buck but once you start pushing for tougher keywords you're gonna want the extra power of a PBN.

Hopefully by that time you're getting good bank and can simply allocate a portion of your profits to a PBN.

I like to allocate 20% of my profits to a sort of SEO R&D budget, basically money I can use to try new ideas and invest in new tools.

Well, depends on budget. Pbn probably better long term but will definitely be more expensive than gsa.

I'd definitely recommend GSA. If you learn how to use it properly you can make your money back X1000.

That's not exaggerating either. I bought GSA + CB + Indexification and rented out a vps for $24 / month.

This was about 14 months ago or so. From my GSA + CB campaigns I've made a little over $24,000 in the past year.

That's not a ton of money but I also used GSA to rank for a couple hundred low competition local terms.

And I made more than twice that amount with my local affiliate sites.

The point is, GSA is the quickest route to money that I know of. You need to know what you're doing of course, and you need to put
out content that converts, but GSA is a work horse on steroids. Especially now that I have it on a dedicated server.

Ironically, now that I have money for a PBN I'm too lazy to build one. So I usually just buy high pr links.

I say go with a PBN. It should be the standard backbone of any ranking campaign. A PBN is an investment, and if you take care of it, it won't lose value.

if you HAVE to choose one or the other, maybe GSA first and work on your PBN after. At least you can start using GSA right away, whereas the PBN most likely won't be ready over-night

GSA will monthly cost equal to a small pbn.

but before buying you will need to know that what you actually need.

In my opinion both are important for SEO. However if you are looking to invest more than go for own PBN as this can help you in the long run.

Appreacite all the replys, I think I'm gonna just go with GSA in the next couple days and build web 2.0s. I'm not sure if the niches I'm involved in need that big of a boost as a PBN would bring.

My main worry was GSA would become outdated but it seems to have lasted the test of time so far, plus its a easy set up and I'll hopefully see results faster like some have said.

I like the idea of putting money aside for SEO, its a good idea to have some money for R & D projects

If you want long term results, PBN.

Short term / churn and burn, GSA SER.

I think that PBN it's a long term investment in quality! You can use your PBN to rank your own sites or selling quality links. So go for the PBN and plan all before start. Plan domains and analize every single hole of the project. Buy domains and go for the quality and long term investment. That's my point of view
