    Hi guys,

I am considering of building 2 - 3 blog sites which I would like to use to rank some of my sites higher. Is this a good method? The thing is I have a source which is willing to provide me with articles however I don't want these article to be shown on the actual sites but only would like to post them on the blog sites and the link my pages several times in these articles.

    Is this a good method?

I think its a good idea. Because it helps to build backlinks to your main site. And this will help to increase the rank of your site.

On the other hand, the article to your blog must be quality and also have unique keywords which increase the traffic in your site. Make the interesting articles which lead the visitors stay in your blog for sometimes.

Make anchor text with the keyword in your article and this direct to your main site and it gains more traffic. But don't use the same keyword anchor text more times in the same article.

    Best wishes.:)

What you're doing really is not much different from what other people are doing on this forum.

What you have in mind really is just a small-scale version of a private blog network.

The big difference, I believe, is that it seems that you are looking to build up the links of your network in a purely organic way.

If that's the case, then expect to wait quite a bit.

I'm not saying that you're going to be waiting forever, but you might get impatient.

Organic blog networks do work, but you have to invest quite a bit of time.

If you're able to understand this, then you could see why a lot of people would rather get a headstart by using expired domains to build their private blog network.

The good news about a truly organic blog network is that you have a lot more control as far as the brands that you create and the relationships that you create.

You might be thinking that you're just creating these sites to pump link juice to a central site.

Be that as it may, you are also building equity into these sites the more you put content on them and promote that content all over the internet.

People do this everyday, I do this everyday, with local clients, it is a very powerful way to help a site rank. However, I can't stress enough that the sites need to have quality content. You cant just throw generic junk on a site and expect it to do well.

It's good plan. But then you need to build links to those web 2.0s as well.

Try to make those websites in similar niches. And save the high quality content for your main site. Anything else can go to your other websites that link back to your main. Make sure they are all hosted on different IPs though.
