    Hi,

I will create my own high-quality (useful content for readers) blog network using wordpress. The blogs will be made mainly for adsense. It will not be developed for selling SEO services.

I am not new to IM. I am a computer engineer, have an authority website, 9+ years experience with IM, and a few dedicated servers. But i did not have time to work on (black hat) SEO heavily and lack experience in building blog networks. I will share my rough plan with you. Let me know what you think.

Each blog will target different but related keywords. For example, if the niche is "PHP", one blog will be about "php programming" (e.g. phpprogramming.com), another will be about php IDEs, (e.g. php-ide.com) etc.

These blogs will not target only the main keywords used in the domain (e.g. php IDE for php-ide.com) , they will target related long tail keywords e.g. "best php ide", "searching in php ide" etc. (So they are similar to EMD sites but they will be larger. For example, i will post at least 1-2 high quality articles to them per month.)

All blogs will be made for adsense. So in the long run, for many web sites (e.g. 100+), i want to have at least a 5-figure monthly income, when monthly costs (e.g. hosting and content) are subtracted.

I have some questions to start with:

    1. Hosting: I plan to buy 2-5$ shared hosting plans. I did not try them but i guess they can handle these wordpress blogs without any problems. No two nlogs in the same host will link to each other, so no two blogs link to each other using the same C-class IP. Assuming that i will create 100 sites at the end and assuming that a blog will link up to 10 other related blogs (using in-content links), i will need to purchase 10+ hosting plans on different hosts. The cost seem resonable. Any suggestions related to hosting?

    2. Domain: I want to hide my activities from Google to keep my authority web sites safe. Is hiding my name while registering domains (by paying extra for each domain) suggested and enough? Or can google see those hidden names since Google is a domain registerer itself.

    3. Interlinking inside the blog: For most of the articles (e.g. %70), i will have 1-2 in-content links to other 2 articles in the same blog. In this way, articles will share link juice.

    4. Interlinking blogs: I dont want to interlink blogs heavily. As i said above: "a blog will link up to 10 other related blogs (using in-content links)". So even though each blog will have hundreds of articles on them, i will get only one link from one of these articles. A blog will get maximum 10 backlinks from 10 other blogs. Can this be detected as a link-wheel by Google? Can i get penalized because of this?

    5. Linking to my authority web site in the same niche: Can i place in-content links to my related authority web sites rarely and randomly. Let say, i have 100 blogs. Can i place 20 in-content links from 20 of them (1 link from each of 20-blogs) so that some link juice goes to my authority web sites. Is it risky? So even though each blog will have hundreds of articles on them, i will get only one link from one of these articles. And i will do this only from 20 of 100+ blogs.

Note that i will use web2.0 sites in the same way. So please dont, simply, suggest me to use web2.0 sites instead of wordpress blogs for this purpose. I will use web2.0 in a similar way. But since i can not earn money with adsense from them, i have this plan which is also good for diversification, i think.

Let me know your opinions. Thanks.

I guess people here dont like to read long posts if thread title does not contain "FREE" or "$XXXX in a month" :p

I think hiding Names in whois for every blog is in fact a footprint

Unless you spread them across many different registrars.

I wish I could see some more replies to this. I was also interested in something along these lines.

Also, adsense leaves a footprint. So maybe monetize some of them by different methods such as affiliate products or CPA. If you are a expert on programing then maybe you could content lock some guides, eBook or script downloads?

Those leave a footprint too, if you use one of them on several blogs. ;)

    The road is fine, but
    - there is a lot of work (and care)
    - adsense will not bring much (as long as no incoming traffic)

-> It will be tantamount to a few pages / Web to make "strongly" and then offer SEO ...

You'd better create 1 big authority site about PHP programming then 100 small sites. Google loves authority sites, and it is easier for you to do SEO to.

Regarding hosting, avoid most seo-hosting sites. Take the time to find good, cheap hosting for many of your sites. It will take a bit more effort but is worth it.

Use as many registrars as you can. Try to find ones that have cheap or free whois protection. Use Godaddy sparingly for registration, but NEVER for hosting. You don´t have to have private reg. on all sites - you surely have family members names available to use for some sites.

Keep your plan and execution somewhat random. Randomize the number of links out to your other sites. You could even have some sites that don´t link out.

As soon as you have built your network, build another one independent of the first.

I don´t use Adsense so I don´t know how having the same account on each site will work out.

I did not read your post but only your title..

Blog Networks... Keep them highly private and to yourself.. Create them in various niches..
Get domains at various registrars and get cheap hosting at various companies. Footprints is
    the big issue here..

Do note that if only one message to Google about your network from you, your competition
will drastically screw you over.. Just trying to say that Networks, if not done correctly will do
your authority site/ money site more harm than good.

Don't use the same host, ip class should variate (if more than 20 blogs), you can host like 2-3 per ip.
Don't link all your websites to your money website from day 1, be elaborate, create nice looking articles, you should even try to rank them on few but small kw (100-300 monthly searches), and then slowly add some links.
Pass some high pr link juice to your website, and to the article so that you will increase the domain authoias well.

I own around 300 blogs in my private network, and i didn't even use all of them yet. Patience is the key and hard work.

Different platforms. Wordpress, Drupal, Basic Html etc....
    Different Hosting
    Different IP's
    Different Registrars
    Different Domain Owners
    Some privacy, some not
Different templates when you use a cms
    Different length content?
    Different linking patterns
PHP vs ASP vs html (lots of options using .htaccess)
Different meta tags ( some with parts and others without )
Different plugins to change the pages up
    Different sitemaps

    I'm sure there's more.

Blog Network and Adsense really dont go together. Adsense=Huge Footprint.

Even if you keep everything clean, once you start making a certain amount youre going to have problems. Read the adsense threads on this forum.

well this seems like a good plan but i myself was puzzled with the footprints. You must be very careful with them, footprints are going to ruin it all for you..!! Good luck with it..!!

Yes, i believe that myself too.

That is actually my plan. But i was hoping to earn some more money in this way since more than one of my websites can be in top 10!

Do you hide your name in the domain record?

yeah > I'm also curious about whetever you have whois protection on all of your 300 blogs.. and which are the ones you leave blank!?
