Disclaimer:

I have a few advantages, like being entrenched really well in this niche, and knowing a lot of leading influencers, some of which I have met in person. So I'm not sure if others will be able to apply this method in the same way, but maybe someone could just cold email influencers and try that way.

Phase One:

  • Create an eBook about internet marketing for guys in my niche
  • Sell it via my social media pages with 250,000+ Likes, my own large personal following, plus influencers in my space I have access to. Some of these influencers have pages with up to 2M Likes in my niche. My email list has 10,000+ HQ signups, I will be using it plus my other social media groups with ~25,000 members.
  • Pay these influencers a commission per sale, but also pay them a flat fee. (This will make more sense later!)

Phase Two:

  • Sell other influencers on creating their own infoproduct with me.
  • I create, market, and take care of everything for the influencers. I take 60-70%.

Phase Three:

  • Outsource the whole process to one of the guys that currently takes care of my main social media business.

Anyways, I will keep this thread updated once a week and let you guys know how its going.

The eBook is being written right now by a fellow BHW'er, should be done in a few days.

Right now, I'm just going to figure out what the best long-term platform for selling these products is, and start setting up some of the promoting framework.

Will flesh this post out a bit more too later!

Great idea.

I am about to re-launch my info product. I did my product in the dating niche. I produced HD videos along with a Ebook and many free bonuses. The only advice I could give would be to go over and over your product before you launch. This will help you out long term more than you could possibly imagine. You must know it inside and out. Also provide good customer service.

Have a predetermined and well thought out means of promotion and advertising. Whether its PPC, Media Buying, or Affiliate launch, you must become an expert on that medium because the big guys will do everything they can to crush you.

Good Luck my friend

Ah awesome! Dating is a difficult niche, hopefully it goes well. I am definitely investing a fair bit into making the product solid.

The product is about 40% done at this point, website is under development.

The one thing I'm not 100% about is the kind of landing page I want, it can't look too scammy/spammy like a lot of landing pages because the traffic already knows me extremely well or its coming from trusted parties.

Will keep you guys updated :)

New email list is @ a healthy number, I edited my sig on multiple forums where I have 2k-3k forum posts to include a link to it and I get 2-3 signups a day + 50 to a 100 when I promote over my own social media. Not pushing too hard yet until I have the site up.

Website + landing page is almost done. Just setting up the landing page so its conversion optimized properly.

Content is 1 chapter away from being done, but I still have to edit quite a bit of stuff. Meantime I have a group on FB I own that I have been successfully hyping the book in :D

Locked in a few more key endorsers. :)

I would assume getting yourself out there in forums, although can be time consuming is a great way to get noticed.

One thing I found when doing something similar is really reaching out, its amazing how when you talk to people you find someone much more important to you than you can ever expect.

Keep us updated!

Yes forums are my favorite. I have multiple aged accounts with thousands of posts on 4-5 forums in my relevant niche. Extremely high quality leads :)

wow great journey, I subscribed and will be watching since I'll also build and sell an info product (or more) so I might get some inspiration from your journey.

Good luck.

Grew the FB group a ton + email list.

The product is done, just submitted for formatting.

Website is done too. Aiming to launch by next week!

Book is done and now I'm having my Web dev make a few changes to site, then I'll have my friend look over the copy.

Working on getting some "reviews" up plus articles in high DA/PR publications.

Posted 4-5 really really high quality articles on my site and used them to grow the email list too. Pushed them on social media + scheduled an email blast on my main email list related to this niche.

I'm just waiting on my web dev to make 2-3 tweaks (again ugh) and for a few testimonials from $$$ influencers in my space.

Waiting around like this sucks!

Received the testimonials & the email blast worked really well.

I have a new group dedicated to what the eBook is about, and its almost at 1500-1600 people.

Also started buying backlinks and asking a few friends for them who are in my space. I don't want to get too aggressive about SEO because I suspect this will propagate well naturally anyways. I will stick to writing HQ/sharable content on the main site + buying backlinks once in a while when it makes sense.

My niche isn't that competitive anyways, so ranking without super aggressive SEO shouldn't be an issue.

Launching this Sunday. Site is 100% operational. I'll let you guys know how things go. Started blasting out emails too to hype things up.

From my above posts, I decided to do some basic seo ans content marketing.
