    Need some advice...

If I have high page rank good contextual links pointing to my money site, would it be a good idea to build comments/trackbacks/profiles to my high page rank contextual back links?

I don't want to run the risk of ruining the good tier 1 links. But if it makes them stronger.......

    Yes!

Multi-tiered linking is how you leverage your quality tier 1 links.

Always build your low quality links towards Tier 1/2 content links.

If you're concerned; build some reasonable quality tier 2 links with web 2.0 properties and profiles and then send your spammy links at THEM.
