    OK. So thanks to a few great members here I understand why we build tier 1, 2, and 3 back links and that in the process, you want to increase the authority of these particular tiers to increase the amount of link juice going to the money site.

    My question is, when building up these tier... should we be sending backlink blasts to a particular POST that has a link to our money site? Or should it be to be to the BLOG in general, which contains various posts that contain links to the money site?

    ie:
    Tier 2 ----> keyword.blogspot.com--> various posts--->moneysite.com
    or
    Tier2 -----> keyword.blogspot.com/post1.html--->moneysite.com

    I hope all that makes sense.

    Depends.On the long run it's better to have backlinks pointing to your post and your homepage(domain) aswell.

    At start I'd suggest you to point most of the backlinks to the article that you want to rank,and point only...let's say 15% of them to the homepage.The link juice will get directly to the post,and since it's already optimized for the keyword will rank faster.If you point the backlinks to your domain,the post will receive some juice,but this will be happening in time,I guess you want to rank faster,right?

    As soon as you reach number 1 place for your keyword,insteed of pointing 75% of the backlinks to your post,point them to your homepage and let the other 15% pointing to your post,to make it stronger.In this case your site will become more authoritive,and safer...it will look more natural too.

    Let me know if this helped you
