It's because the Lunar New Year is approaching, and Asia is a dominant crypto market. This has happened every January to early February for the past several years. I'm sure it will pop back up in the middle of February going into March. No need to worry.

Unless you have a very strange definition for the word "soon", I'm ready to bet you are going to be wrong on this one. I'm not really sure if it's going to skyrocket again, if it's going to fluctuate for a long time or if it's going to continue dropping, but it's value is going to remain in the thousands for the foreseeable future.

I believe btc wontw go anywhere soon, but it definitely has nothing to do with investing. It's called gambling not investing

I would actually try to master a way to make money, then scale it with the money I have. This is what I did and by the time all this btc hype was here, I didn't care cause I have my personal channels of investments

I wouldn’t limit your statement to solely bitcoin, or solely cryptos. Any investment is very similar to gambling. Ford, Apple, amazon, bitcoin, ethereum... no one knows where the price will be tomorrow, 2 months, 2 years... always invest what you are comfortable losing.

A smart investor can invest in a crypto currency. However due to the insanity that happened this year with bitcoin 20xing over the course of 12 months and tons of hype around it, many uneducated people (yourself included) approach bitcoin as a gamble. An investment would require you to actually spend time, learn about the code, satoshi’s vision, how mining works, uses for bitcoin... not just spit out an uneducated viewpoint taken from the latest John Oliver skit.

That being said your second paragraph is absolute gold. There isn’t any easy get rich quick scheme and bitcoin certainly isn’t it. Anyone who is attracted to the gains bitcoin has seen should start an business and invest their time into developing a system where momma dollar and papa dollar get funky and make a truckload or baby dollars.
