I have used a bunch of BST services and so far most of them have been great. I was just wondering what kind of approach do you take when buying a service or what works better for you? Buying a big service from one seller or buying multiple services from multiple sellers but the prices are cheaper. So to say if I was going to spend $200 on a service from one person would I be better off buying 4 services from 4 people at $50 each? I have always bought the bigger services but started thinking lately that I could be much more diversified and keep the link velocity more stable by buying a bunch of cheaper ones from many sellers. I do like the fact that the more expensive services you have less work to do though.

I think it varies widely based on the particular services, some cheap ones are great value but so are some expensive ones. In the end I think its more important to have your SEO campaign/strategy mostly figured out and then search for the specific service to fill the hole in your needs; usually in that case there will not be a lot of price difference as the services will be similar.

It just depends. IMO many vendors here on BHW overcharge for their services and many don't offer quality services. Since Penguin some providers have revamped their services though. One of my complaints was the lack of anchor diversity that was being offered.

You really have to judge each service individually and after using a lot of services you get an idea of what's working and what's not. The key is figuring out who offers the best quality for the money. I buy a lot of services and I have not been buying much from BHW since the first Panda update. I would say about 90% of my purchases are from other sources now. The quality here is just not up to par for the price. Many providers are just milking people with services that are not effective and are based off of outdated methods.
