This happened exactly to me a few weeks ago. What worked for me was a quick re-installation of Firefox. Give it a go and let me know.

I think Chrome is where I'll be headed soon enough. I have FireFox set the way I want it but in the last version, it would lock up and crash my PC. The new version does not lock up the PC or Firefox but it stops sending and receiving the connection. I can close and open and it is fine but I don't like doing that in the middle of projects.

If I can get Chrome to be the default browser on the iPhone, I'd go ahead and make the switch.

Didn't Microsoft get sued for doing what Apple is doing with Safari on the iPhone?
