I don't even like hip-hop/rap too much, but there are a few artists I really like. T.I. is definitely one of them. Pretty much everything he's ever put out is pretty damn good. And I'm not just saying that because we both live in Atlanta.

I love "rags to riches" stories that are actually true because I grew up poor as fuck and worked my ass off to push myself in the right direction.

I know there's a lot of people here on BHW that have similar backgrounds so I thought I'd share one song I listen to when I need to get motivated and pumped up to get some shit done.

My favorite lyrics are actually by Ludacris (hense my signature):

"They say what goes up must come down but i ain't reached my cruising altitude...
Take a look at what I did now can you imagine what I'm about to do
The places I'm 'bout to go and the money I'm 'bout to see
Gave Bill Gates some binoculars and said "Look out for me!"
Exceeded expectations even at def jam
'Cause I married the streets and Atlanta has been my best man
My momma quit her job and now she works with six figures
    'Cause I'm a self-made nappy-headed RICH nigga!"

Edit: Hook me up and share your favorite motivation-type songs here. Hip-hop/rap preferred but anything is cool. I'm always on the lookout for new music.

That's funny you say that because a guy I took spanish with in 7th grade opened a show for Curren$y on Friday. Crazy to see people grow up...

If you guys are looking for some good music check out the new Young Money mixtape that dropped a couple days ago. Willy Wonka goes crazy hard

Who did you have spanish with? Wiz is pretty young-Curren$y is like 10 years older.

Best I've got is Tweeting with them..

Organizing them out to my university for a show though
