What is the difference between broad position and phrase position in SERP? I'm targeting keyword "AAA BBB". Should I be concerned about ranking in AAA BBB without quotes, or "AAA BBB" in quotes?

Without quotes, I'm ranking 5, with quotes I'm ranking 2.

Without quotes, position 2,3,4 is the same site, wtf? I'm taking position 5 with index page, and position 6 with subpage. Why are there multiple listings?

Without quotes, position 2,3,4 is taken by a forum. How do i beat them?

To track your ranking, never use quotes. #5 is your actual position in SERP.

You might be having some internal page well optimized targeting the same keyword. Double listing shows that the competition is pretty much low.

Register to those forums and post a reply to the same thread with link in your signature pointing to your site. Getting backlinks from sites ouranking your sites improves your SERP. We can easily outrank the forum threads as mostly they are not SE optimized for a keyword. Just build links constantly, you will outrank them for sure.
