Well he / she probably used some program, placed it in right time and it went viral / good serp in Utuub ... You can't just upload there some vids and hope "100 mill views next week " 
Try downloading some bot to get view / rating/sub/comment and try uploading somenew track isnt that circus quite old ?

what do you expect it's an international pop superstar's new music video vs. 1 out of thousands of free ringtone videos which probably aren't all that popular to begin with.
Not saying it's not possible to get more views just might want to try a different/more clever tactic instead of being straightforward with it.
Like antsaoo said it's a matter of uploading the video at the right time when it comes to a new pop song just hitting the scene.

You can't compare with people who have over 100,000 subscribers. When she puts up ANY video from her channel there would be atleast 50k-200k views within a day or two.

Well it's become increasingly difficult to get youtube traffic because they have been locking videos for increasing views.
It's best to go for volume these days (upload 20-50 vids a day) - a video uploader helps a lot. Also don't limit yourself to just youtube - there are plenty of other tube sites out there that still get decent traffic.
Anything you can do to get someone's attention will result in a view just because they're curious. Think shocking/sexy/funny
