Brilliant Directories, experience anyone?

After searching for months for a decent solution to start a directory website, I came across Brilliant Directories. I have literally used many WordPress themes, but it has a huge lack of features. The problem is, that WordPress is offering these features I am looking for, but the themes which are compatible with these plugins are not professional.

Brilliant Directories is very expensive, but is offering the right features and design is highly adjustable. I am looking for people who have experience with their support members and the overall experience of the quality of the script.

I've been using Brilliant for my site FindAMuralist.com with 600 muralists listed. The sites always worked good and have not done custom CSS or HTML work to it. We messaged support a little when we signed up and they helped pretty quick... haven't needed much help over the last few years so its been good.

Feature and security updates have been steady which is nice. SEO has been surprisingly good. Never needed to modify the stock SEO templates and we've always been ranked #1 for "find muralist" on Google.

Overall we've been happy. Looks like they lowered their prices since we got it years ago. Maybe try looking around for a promo code to bring the price down

Yeah , but there's another paywall of additional $270 for extra plugins and all. I was curious if anyone has actually used this before
