Okay so it's for American style football fans but am I the only one who is sick of this fucker? Forget stats, forget his place in football history, hall of fame etc. I'm talking about this mo-fo's prima donna, whiny assed bitch attitude,
    "I think I'll retire".
    "I'm retired"
    "I'm coming back"
"I'm going to play for (Insert NFL team)"
"I'm not going to play for them I'm going to play for (Next suckass team)"
"No, I'm staying retired, my body is too beaten".
"Huh? $25 million for 2 years"?
    "I'm baaaaack".

Wow, what a fucking surpise. If I see this guy retire and cry doing it one more time I'm going to come unglued. Fuck him.
(And no, I am not now nor have I ever been a Packers fan and don't care about them one way or another)

If he can hack it out there... who gives a shit. The Vikings want a superbowl, Brett has a better chance of giving it to them than either of their other qbs. People bitch about him retiring and coming back. I don't hear anyone bitching about lance armstrong... Fuck it, he makes that team better and I hope they beat the shit out of GB because they sent him packing after 16 yrs. Look where that got them last year, non-competitors. Tired of hearing him say he is going to retire, hes coming back, hes not coming back, easily solved, don't listen.

I live in Minnesota, hopefully Brett will be able to help us get the Super Bowl. I saw on tv Brett Favre being chased into MN by the media. It was just funny and stupid.

And no one is talking about the fuck up the Philadelphia eagles made???? I mean at least Favre didn't go to prison and come back. And doesn't abuse animals. Well, at least we hope, i mean, i have never seen his dog.. LMAO... I mean this is stupid, bitching about favre's old ass coming back, when no one complaining about a convicted felon making money for not even being able to play football yet (because the commission hasn't even said he could, but he has a contract) than most people make on here.... Instead of Gatorade, there is going to be Geritol and Prune Juice (Got to stay regular) in his cooler.

I actually like and respect the guy. I think he actually plays football for football - not for the money like 75% of the other football players do. He has enough money to retire, sit on his ass, and do absolutely nothing for the rest of his life.

He actually "wants" to play football though. He doesn't need the $25 million. He has played for so damn long and has accumulated so much money during his years another 25 mil is nothing to him. Mofugga' is like a household name in America.

Just my opinion though. Opinions are like assholes... Everyone has one. :bigok:

Green Bay didn't "send him packing". He quit. Then wanted back after he retired and they moved on. People don't care if you "retire" and then come back like Lance because he did it right. He walked away for awhile and then decided to starting training and came back. Cycling also in no way compares to football. Yes, there are teams in cycling that do help win, but football centers around a quarterback with a whole lot more to learn and is more of an individual sport than football for sure. Brett on the other hand is making it into a circus. I am a Bears fan so I could care less about Favre and I hope he breaks his leg after a 1-6 start and completely submarines the team like he did to the Jets last year. I wouldn't mind seeing him take a shot like Trent Green did in 06(I think it was 06, maybe 07). Basically, I haven't liked him for a long time and the respect I had from a great career is becoming less and less for me because of how he likes to be the center of attention. It is just like TO. Great player, but his circus does not help a team. That and Favre is getting old and losing a step or two. Injuries take more of a toll and his body has paid a price for being a NFL QB. As for Vick, he did his time and it was too much at that. Should he not be allowed to have a job after he served his debt to society? He happens to have a special skill set and there is no reason he shouldn't be back. Just because he makes a lot of money does not mean that he should never be allowed back. I think he lost a whole lot and did his time so I wish him the best of luck.

I totally agree with both of you.

    However...

While the Vikings want a superbowl, and Brett can give it to them, he really should just pack it in and retire. He's gotten so predictable with his unpredictable-ness, and the media's tired of it, and his fans are, and it's really getting annoying. As a GB fan, it's sad to see such a great QB ruin his rep.

Then again, it's his passion, and he should ABSOLUTELY have the right to follow it. Man, if the spirit drives him to play football, then geez, play football!

    Whatever. Best of luck Favre.

Lot of the stuff from Brett the media blows shit out of content, with a shitty New York Jet team he came close from the playoffs, but with a great Viking team it will be fun to watch him light the Packers, Bears, and Lions apart, will be fun to watch.

He can go to the Vikings and fuck up there? Where were you in 2007? The Jets were 4-12 in 2007 unless you forgot. Favre took them to 9-7 in 2008 with a torn rotator cuff and ligament damage in his throwing arm. If he hadn't played no way Jets got over 500. Did he make mistakes? Yes but thats what you get when you sign Favre, a guy who will make the most insane passes you have ever seen but he will throw interceptions too. Hell if the Jets didn't have Favre they wouldn't have even been able to compete in half of those games. If the Vikings can give brett the time to throw he will pick teams apart just like he always has.

Green Bay gave him a date to decide what he was going to do, he told them, I don't know what I want to do, they told him that it was over, retire, we are moving on. End of story. The fact that you want to see a professional athlete hurt kind of bothers me from a sports fan perspective. I may not like a player or a team but I don't want them hurt, thats just kind of low imo. And again, he torpedoed the Jets? Since when? How were they going to recover from a 4-12 season? Please. They wouldn't have won as many games had Favre not been there. Of course everyone is tired of seeing him retire and come back but at the same time, I would love to see him play another season. Its like watching an old lion fighting out there. The man is fucking legendary. He is one of the best on field leaders to ever play the game. Not to mention that the Vikings as a team committed to getting Favre there, texting and calling him constantly. Hell if they want him to play and he wants to play, let him go out there and amaze us again. That man at 40 is better than the other qbs on that team, so much better that their own teammates were begging him to come in. That speaks volumes.

Im tired of that shit. The old fuck needs to retire because hes old(no offense). He needs to stop hopping back and forth from one team to another. Last year he had more interseptions then touchdowns. That is sad.
