I just checked i monitor alot of spammy subreddit niches and Im seeing total wipe outs of some major subreddits that were ranking well and dominating the SERPS

seems first it was the comment removal in mass monday and subreddit wipe out either yesterday or today

seems like since they went public there really trying to clean things up.

that and also the spam went crazy in the last few months so it was obvious they will do something about it at some point.

Omg! I need to check mine! Thanks for sharing the notice

that is true everyone came out of the woodwork. those of us who been around awhile remember what it was like. it started ticking up maybe over a year ago but really ticked up in the last few months
So I need to stop spamming? What u say OP?
they were spammy subreddits so if your pimping affiliate links in your threads at all even if not in the sidebar you will get nailed eventually. Seems it took many months for them to act

It's only getting stricter and stricter. You can still spam (5x slower than before) but you will have to be original, watermarking images and using normal post titles not related to advertising.

Weird thing is in my NSFW niche the subreddits are allowed to grow big which they werent a few months ago. They would legit shut them down at 300-500 now they let them grow to 1-10k.

Are there specific niches who get banned by reddit, conspiracy theories?
It looks like creating subreddits is the way to go on reddit to get karma, followers and traffic but.......

you must build up karma first before you can post subreddits?
I never understand their miraculous paradoxon.....

Weird things happen today on planet earth ...
