    Hey guys,

So I've done a small bit of media buying and ordered some SEO work to be done on my new forum.

It's Gaming related so looking for gamers, any ideas on how I could gain some quick gamer related members? Willing to spend around $100 - $300 for the 1st part of April on gaining membership.

I Bought 4 tweets and some media buying from BuySellAds so we'll see how that goes (scheduled for 27/03/13 start). I've also asked a number of friends to go and post on it - Which they've started to do!

All and any ideas would be appreciated :)

    Thanks
    - DH

Provide good content, it's not really a big thing to get visitors the problem is if you can make them come back.
Think of what you like about this forum and what made you stay here, then you can apply the same principle on your forum.

    DHSellerUK,

I think one of the main reasons people come back to forums again and again is because there are likeminded people in them and visitors can generally receive good advice, feedback, help or products and services.

With that in mind, you could either create or pay someone to create informative threads on the new forum and to interact with the members you already have in a quality way. By that I mean answering questions very thoroughly, providing links to other useful content, and in general being very helpful.

You could then either become active on other gaming forums or pay that same person to be active on other forums and direct people as often as they could to your forum for advice, tips and what have you.

I think you should also have very practical and attentive moderation.

Maybe you can find some ideas in this thread,

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn

Buy space on a new forum in the niche. Although might be hard because most forums dont promote others.
