Here is, what I think, a smart question : How do you organize your time in BH ?

That's my main problem actually, i'm not an organized person, and i think i loose too much time in stupid things such as hanging out here for hours :D

So, when you have a website to promote, what are your stages and for how long ?

I think this thread can help many ppl included me especially people who are a bit lost in front the huge amount of infos regarding the ranking process.

Stop using your mind and start writing and scheduling the things you need to do.

    1: Kw research
    2:Content
    3:Link building
    4:Read forums
    5:Other stuff

Then you do something like this: Today from 9 am to 12 am i will do kw research, from 2 pm to 7 pm i will read forums etc..

This is how i work, but i use basecamp and aceproject to organize all my projects.

Yeah, I agree with the post above me.

Figure out what you need to do. Set time frames for each task. And do it.

You'd be surprised at how effective a simple list can be at getting things done.

When I have a lot of work to do, I use a system called the "Pomodoro Technique," which is basically breaking tasks down into 25 minute sections, and then taking 5 minutes in between. Just google it for the full system. But using this system, expect to be at least 5 times as productive (not an over estimate in the least).

Thanks for the advices, because I'm starting to crack out literally.

I'm overwhelmed by tasks to do, it is a complete mess in my F*** brain between :

Keyword Research : not completly closed
Business' dev : many things to change
Link Building : a few small blast but lack of KW
Social Networking : eat lot of time omg
Business' support : 1 customers to comply with a weird CMS ...
    Graphism : OMFG
AutoBlogs to set up : ....
    Freelance Jobs : ....
    Find a real job : ....

    + Things I can't remember

Result my PC is overheating with all the task i try to do all at the time...

I'm screwed upside down, that was the hidden part of my question :D

I've to settle down for an hour or two and start planning, so I'm gonna try what you said cause i can't keep doing like this.

I'm this close to stop blasting comments and blast myself :D

Ok, i'm gonna use both of your advices.

So i use Pirondi comment to define tasks, and englandrm for your awesome method.

Result 12 critical tasks with more coming.

So it lead to a total of 24 hours of work.

With 20 hours of real work, and 4 hours of fun stuff (= light tasks)

    48 * 25 minutes = work

    48 * 5 minutes = light task.

Let's see if i can stick to it with the task order i've just made

    1) Make a main goal "rank a specific kw"
    2) Make a brainstorm and write everything down that you need to do to achive your goal (kw research, set up webpage, do onsite seo etc.)
    3) Organize your brainstorm in the correct order.
    4) Make an estimate for each task - how long is it going to take.
    5) If a task takes longer than 2 hours, then break it down.
    6) Make a time schedule. Could be you chose to with your project 2 hours a day.
    7) Follow your sub-goals and stick to your 2 hours work gab.

    Good luck.
