i started a blog i care about and always will in December. its not a huge blog, in the fashion niche but posts are related to "Going Ons" for a few lines and not continual content related articles. i want to rank mostly for the store. im very familiar with the designers. its low competition, the first time ive done keyword research and started optimizing my articles

ive never ranked for a site. over a month ago i bought some services here, i didnt have much to spend. $20 on some backlinks, 2 BLC services which are really cheap, $3 $4, they come with web 2.0s, articles, backlinks, and another with the same services for cheap

within weeks i saw my first site on google ever, page 8, for me it was a big deal and i saw a beginning and potential

its only been a month and ive done nothing different to the site or off site and its not on google anywhere

what can happen, where could i have done anything wrong

if anyone can offer anything, anyone who knows the fashion industry

    If I'm correct:

You spent under $30 in total, ranked Page 8 temporarily and then completely disappeared.

Sounds normal to me. You get what you pay for with the link building you purchased and by the sound of it, it looks like those links didn't do much in the end. The fact that you're not ranking has nothing to do with the fashion industry, but rather because you approached your link building the wrong way.

Link building is supposed to be a continuous process. It's not something you buy once for $30 and then just forget.

Those "cheap" links you got may have ended up doing more harm than good.

As Leith stated, you get what you pay for in SEO. You need to be uploading content actively and consistent with your link building. Just buying sets of links is good to start off, but it's not sufficient unless you keep buying them/making them.

Think of SEO as climbing a ladder. You have to put effort & strength to get to the next rung. Eventually, you get to the top. The effort is building the links and the strength is the links that have been built.

Next time try purchasing premium services. In order to rank well be prepared to spend well.

Its happens thats why I suggest people one little knowledge of link building is must for all so that if you buy any services after that you can also use those links for further link building.

It's quite a normal situation, you shouldn't worry about it strongly
