    1. which one is better, VPN or Proxies? Which service for VPN/proxies do you recommend?
    2. What are some "must" addons?
    3. Anything special most people don't know and I absolutely need to know?

Even with a VPN you need proxies of you'll burn your IP quickly.

There's tons to know, look for tutorial videos on Youtube and reserve an afternoon to watch them.

I would use proxies over a vpn, I have used vpns in the past, or tested with them, but I never used any long term, they sound great, but they require too much work on your part changing IPs. A good private/shared proxy provider is better and now with back connect proxies it takes the ip rotation work out of the picture and they work well for Scraping. Actually just hit scraping a million urls per minute with a back connect proxy service, yesterday.

There are recommended proxy providers on the FAQ here:

They 2 Must addons are the music player and chess. :)

Really though its not possible to say what are the must addons because it depends on what your trying to do. So you would have to be much more specific about exactly what you are trying to do and how you are trying to do it, but each addon serves its purpose.

Anything special... that there is nothing special perhaps. Just good old hard work, persistence and consistency. I started out not knowing jack squat about Scrapebox and now I have made over 100 video tutorials for it and I have learned a mountain load along the way. Anyone can do it, you just have to stick with it, and you can do it.

Also I guess that there are no short cuts. I would start out by reading
The Dip by Seth Godin, excellent book. Understand that to succeed online it takes a lot of hard work, a long time and has a steep and constant learning curve, but that you can succeed.
