Bought an expired domain.. no google cache/index

    Lol, so I bought this domain after doing lots of research.. and it has all these great rankings on moz or majestic.. but now I find out that it doesn't appear in google at all.. this must be because it was blacklisted right?

    Nothing appears in cache:<domain> nor site:<domain>

    Go on and mock me a little :eek:

    have you put anything on the site to try and index it?

    Thats normal if the domain was expired, add some content and wait for it to index to be sure..

    Oh, that's great! Now I see that it's normal.. I see other expired domains even if they have good stats they dont have any cache/index :D

    Cool.. I recreated the old site grabbed 20 articles from archive.org so I guess we'll wait and see ! :cool:

    Oh no, it definitely doesn't mean it has been banned.

    It is very common for expired domains to leave Google's index after a while. It is not a good sign but it is also not a bad sign.
