Anyone have any experiences with buying aged domains and having all adult backlinks but it's for a maintstream site? Will Google still think it's an adult domain? Is it just not worth the trouble? Yahoo Site Explorer says there's 400~ backlinks, I'm guessing 95% are adult oriented backlinks from directories and the domain name itself doesn't sound adult oriented so the anchor text is pretty clean.

.. 400 backlinks are not the world, even when those are from adults sites.. go for a good link building strategy and you should be fine.

I did an experiment with one of my sites where I added hundreds of adult, XXX backlinks and it didn't it hurt, in fact, it only pushed the site up (and it's a non-adult site)....a backlink is a backlink....otherwise, everyone would be slaughtering their competitors by pushing these so-called negative backlinks.
