Yeah, this can happen without you buying anything. I'd first secure the account, check for any connected third-party apps, and enable 2FA if it isn't already on. For the bot followers themselves, use Instagram's built-in tools to remove or restrict suspicious accounts in batches where possible, and keep an eye on Account Status for any unusual activity.
