i am trying to come up with an anchor text for my signature in forums. I am getting deleted way too often when i use real words. people immediately know that i am trying to advertise when i do that

I am thinking of some boring, neutral word to put and then put my link behind it.
    something that nobody will click.
    for example, "references"
can you come up with some boring words?
how do YOU avoid getting deleted?
or you dont post in forums at all?

omg, you guys are so funny
now that i am thinking about it, whenever i see a quote in a signature i totally ignore it, i am always like "yeah, whatever..."

another question: what do you post so that your signature shows up?
right now i am responding to random posts saying "yeah, i am having the same problem and i tried that method and it didnt work, do you have any suggestions?"

what do you post? do you post a brand new question, or reply to someone else? what do you write?

I don't post at all. The search engine, if the forum uses the default settings, should be able to read my profile and see my signature.

Use that old trick of hiding your link behind a smiley.
    Eg: http://www.google.com

Does the smiley thing actually work? I mean how important is the anchor text?

Sure, the anchor text is important for seo value. But i get the impression the op is not concerned about this. I think he just wants his link to stick, or maybe i misunderstood.
