    Hey everyone...

At the start of 2017, I decided that I would make an attempt to start a biz with recurring income and real growth. So, I've decided to start a niche hosting solution (with a twist). Instead of offering something for free on the front end, usually free website, I intend on increasing the value of the product by offering something very specific to this niche that they need and view as valuable.

About the niche: The niche is fairly large with new people entering daily. There are several products, membership sites, facebook groups, associations, and publications dedicated to this niche. So, I know they're buyers here. I won't be revealing the niche...don't ask.

Marketing: During the first 30 days, I'll mainly focus on fast traffic. This is going to help me quickly validate and evaluate my offer, make necessary tweaks and get ready to scale asap.

Journey Updates: I'll be updating daily progress for the first 30 days.

    Milestones:
Milestone #1 - First Customer (concept validated)
    Milestone #2 -
    Milestone #3 -
    Milestone #4 -

Resources: I found a "get your first 1000 hosting customer" ebook that was circulated a while back. Haven't looked at it yet but hoping there are some old school gems in it. Since it's a niche market I'm targeting, I'll be referring to RankXL, FatStacks, a a couple of threads here to see if I can incorporate anything that will help with traffic or other monetization ideas. I'll be using Gramous by @IGKing to help me whitehat a new instagram account. I'll be using a dormant facebook page with a few fans still on it.

    Day 1:
Purchased domain and secure all impt social accounts.
I've narrowed my hosting options down to 2 and will make a decision tomorrow.

    Money Spent:
Domain - 9.84 (incl privacy, not concerned with chasing discounted domains)
    Total: $9.84

    Profits:

    $0

If you have experience in the hosting arena, I welcome any advice you have. I'm excited and looking forward to making this venture successful. ;)

Kinda difficult niche, but I see you've planned well and you got the will to succeed. Hope you succeed and then sell your hosting services here as well ;)

    Day 6: Tech Pains

Spent the weekend attempting to customize the template needed for the WHMCS integration but nothing is working. The template needs to be updated so this is Day 2 of waiting for the designer to update and deliver.

Meanwhile, I'm going to start my IG & FB strategy to gain followers.
