    Hey!

Couldnt find anything concerning this issue. Lets say I put the content of a whole book on a website. The content is unique. But almost every book can be found on books.google.com. I have to say that they arent showing a whole book but cutting out some parts of it.

So what if google finds content on my site which is definitely copied from a book and content is found on books.google.com too, will this be DC for google or will they not care? Thats def a great way to fill (bp hosted) sites with tons of content :D

    What do you think :)

15 million out of an estimated 130 million books isn't really "almost all" :D
Also I honestly don't get how Google can argue that using other peoples work to sell advertising space is "fair use"!

If it was the internet archive, or Wikipedia, or someone that wasn't an advertising agency I wouldn't mind...

Anyway, that was all off topic, sorry about that :D

I had a website about books before. I copied the description of certain books from books.google.com, and used some of their cover pictures and my site was deindexed.
After a month, I updated my website and wrote my own description plus used my own pictures and my site came back.
