    Hi guys,

I got about halfway through this book about "Whitehat SEO" tactics written by a self made "millionaire".

He talks about pagerank etc, but more important he coins a term TRUSTRANK.

I wanted to ask, does anyone have any experience with this?

He basically goes onto explain that Trust-rank is not just page rank by google but it is accumulated score that you receive for being a "trusted" domain. Wikipedia, WSJ, etc all have high trustrank/PR.

I guess the only sure way to accumulate trust is time?

Anyways, just wanted to see what you all thought about this concept since I see a lot of debate that PR is useless.

He started his career in blackhat, then launched an SEO firm going whitehat. I still think a lot of what he does is still blackhat though.

Yes he's very successful, and his brother is too. A lot of it is smoke and mirrors but he's worth listening to.

afaik, trustrank is a concept. there's no proof of it existing yet.

but i'm sure that google have a couple of filters that we don't know about yet.
