I recently bought a domain through Godaddy auction. It had a good PA/DA/PR etc. and good backlink profile. Today it was transfered to my account and when I accessed to the domain, it went to former owner's website. I don't know much about it but I guess since the name servers are made by its own domain name (ns1,2. justboughtdomain.com) , it is pointing to the former owner's server and it is still up. The thing is the site is (looks like) a typical SEO tier1 blognetwork blog with some out bound links with exact match anchor texts. Is this fact itself a bad sign to keep using this domain? Well I'm using it for the exact same purpose but there might be a reason why the former owner ditched it. The site is indexed, and PR is still alive (PR4), and other than the fact it seems to be a typical tier1 blog, nothing seems to be wrong. Are there anything I should check before starting making a site on it? (I know I should have checked what it was used for by using wayback machine but I didn't bother.) Thank you.
