Many people reporting sites that were using BMR as main source of links got creamed last panda update.

According to them, they stopped accepting subscriptions because they were upgrading their blogs and adding more blogs.

In other words, a good number of their blogs are deindexed and hit which made them stop subscription for now in order for them to make their blogs more harder to detect. This also means they are going to invest much money in building better blogs and buying more blogs to compensate for the lost ones.

After a short research from the links in a friend's BMR account (I used his cause it has a lot of bmr posts), around 30% of his links are gone.

By last panda update you meant the one last month (last week of Jan)?

I don't think so. I think they got hit more recently, around two weeks ago which was the precise time the loading of the site became slower and the indexing of links also got slower.

Untrue. Most of my BMR links (90%) are still up and these links are from last year. They probably got more subscriptions than they can handle which is why they temporarily closed it.

Please be careful with these posts. At least you should give us exact source because these rumours will ruin their business.

Strange you say that actually because my rankings dropped at the start of last week & I couldnt work out why. Either it was ALN or BMR since they are the only BMR posted I made relating to that KW.

When exactly did you get hit? I first noticed my drop around 19/20. I have about 150-300 bmr posts for my sites that fell.

I just started using ALN last week as well (started on the 17th) so I can't say for sure what the cause is. I've since put a stop to both types of link building.

Your posts get posted randomly. The reason might be that most of your links are posted in blogs that were not hit. I can say this because most of the people I know, (IMers) did get some links stripped away from BMR. Around 5% - 30% per account holder.

Exactly the same bro, dropped on 19/20th from 1 --> 5 on a 6k local & some of my other kw's dropped a few spots. I've just re-subbed 10 posts as an experiment, I want to see if they get rejected even though they are no longer indexed in Google. If that's the case just copy & paste the de-indexed ones & repost with 1-2 words different.

p.s. make sure you edit the links and remove the annon.me link.

Meh, I don't even use that program to rank my site. I personally think it is overrated and you probably spend more time blasting with that than finding high quality content and links.

I actually would disagree with this a month or two ago but as time goes by.. I honestly slowly start to think otherwise.

BMR is high quality content & links?

I write my BMR myself & it takes 5 minutes max per 150 word article, I'd love to see you find high content quality that fast.

What in god's name are you talking about?

This is a byproduct of people building links the lazy way, and not a result of BMR having 20% of its network deindexed.

It always makes me sick to my stomach when people make absolute statements trashing someone else's business and they don't even freaking use it.

Yeah? Maybe those "many people" should come here and start trash talking the vendor. But until YOU have sites using BMR that get creamed from a panda update, you're not qualified to comment.

Something happened around the 17th to 20th of February where a ton of sites got affected, my site included. I did not use BMR directly. I might have contracted an op that placed some links in that network, but the number of links I had in that network was less then 1%, so I don't think this would of affected me so much, but who knows!
