I just purchased 1000 yahoo.co.uk accs to use with BMD. Got them in a "normal" way, i.e. username:pwd

When looking around in BMD I did see that you needed it in a csv-file med additional details in it.

Anyone know of an easy way to convert my txt-file and add the additional info fast so it works?

Everything except the username and password is the same for each line. Maybe you can do a find and replace CTRL+F and replace : with all the stuff it needs between those two fields?

Yeah, that´s an option.. however, if I am force to do that, it might even be faster to create the accounts manually :)

If your accounts are listed like

    ACC:pWD
    ACC:pWD

    an you want it in
    ACC,PWD?

Just use replace all in notepad?

Or how is the format for bmd ?

I don't think so, it would be loads quicker.

    Open excel.
Copy top line from BMD: Email, POP3, POP3 Port, SMTP, SMTP Port, Requires SSL, Encryption, User Name, Password, Leave On Server, Include This Email For Download

Copy list of accounts into excel in A2

Hit CTRL + F, click replace tab.
    find what :
    replace with ,plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com,995,plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com,465,Y,SSL,myemail,

    hit replace all.

Save file as a .csv and close it.

Create new file in excel, click Data > Import External Data > Import Data.
Find the .cvs file. Tick Delimited. Click Next, tick comma remove all other ticks, click Finish, click ok.

Now you have everything except the username, so copy Column A to a new sheet. Hit CTRL + F click replace tab. Find what: @yahoo.co.uk replace with (leave blank). Copy this list back into column H.

Agh, if you follow that exactly you'll have nothing in last two fields (check email and leave message on server). These have to be Y or N, fill out row B and copy and paste rest...

Just use excel text to columns. Or even better: open office, this lets you save it to the right csv format.

Copy the text into open office. Use : as the seperator when using text to columns. Just fill in the rest. Save as .csv with , (comma) as seperator and no text seperator.

    Done.

SweTech - Can I ask where you purchased the yahoo.co.uk accounts?

I've seen a few sellers on here offering yahoo accounts, but haven't seen any advertise selling yahoo.co.uk accounts (for BMD).

    Thanks.
