    Anyone here using bluehost?

I signed up for 2 years with them and after a couple of months, I am being throttled almost all the time.

All my websites are wordpress and are optimized by the tips bluehost themselves gave me. They keep saying that the problem is from my sites not from their side.

Any advice? I do not know what to do. I cannot afford another hosting and let my 2 years go to waste.

I was throttled pretty bad by them, too.

What are they saying is the issue on your sites?

use the WP SuperCache plugin and Google XML Sitemaps, along with using the sitemap in your robots.txt and disabling RAW crawls. Make sure that you also use Akismet to lower the spam comments and your db queries.
You can only improve your usage not lower it anyhow. These are the limits of shared hosting as most providers use Cloud Linux nowadays which lowers your resources.
The only effective solution is to upgrade to Dedicated server and NO VPS is not good either.

Read the terms people.... Unlimited on any hosting does not actually mean unlimited.
