I was wondering if i can transfer my blogspot blog to a custom domain and hosting like bluehost which will be operated by wordpress. If it can be done then what will be the procedure??

Probably not... unless you manually copy and paste everything. Stuff like blogger or tumblr usually means it's stuck on their forever, unless I'm totally wrong. I tried this a few years ago with my first blog (using blogger) and I just ended up copying everything over. You can't just download the whole site like you can when you're using your own hosting.

you tried google it?

not sure if it helps

its a easy.No worries bro. After taking hosting in bluehost, install wordpress. In WordPress dashboard, go to Tools > Import. Select Blogger from the list. You'll have to install the plugin for moving. Once it's up and running, enter your Google login information and grant access to your account. Click the "Import" button next to the correct blog and this should automatically transfer all your posts and comments for you.

you can move your subscribers from blogger to wordpress.login to Blogger and go to Settings > Other > Site Feed. In the Post Feed Redirect URL box, enter your new FeedBurner address. This will help redirect your subscribers.

Now one last final step in blogger. In Blogger, select Settings for the blog you want to transfer. Select Basic and scroll down to Publishing. Click the top link, "Custom domain." By Blog Address, click on +Add a custom domain. You already own a domain, so you'll want to Switch to advanced settings. Type in your new domain, www.yournewwpdomainblog.com, and save. Now your links will transfer automatically to your own domain

That's it.

Thanks for your information. I am planning to build a blog, get some good number of followers and then to buy hosting otherwise if i firstly buy a hosting and my blog does not goes good then it will be a total waste of money. So i am planning to build it first in blogspot and then to transfer it. I hope that your info will help me in this process.

yes you only need to dump the blogger feed and import to wordpress. it's very easy!
But why do you want to transfer it? You can always buy a domain and use blogger... the only cost for you will be the domain...

I didn't understand your question. How can i use blogger in a own purchased domain?

Not an issue. I have 2 blogs (used blogger), last week we migrated to wp and make a one blog. First two days traffic down now again OK. All Backlinks still active.

Go to you blogger blog settings, there's an option for purchase custom domain. It only $10 with full privacy protection.

You can buy the domain from the service you prefer, like namecheap or godaddy, and redirect your blogger blog to your custom domain, after the proper Google CNAME validation. Please note that the domain hosting is not provided by Blogger but you need to host it on your own.
You can find all this stuff in the "Settings" menu, click "Add custom Domain", click "Advanced Settings" and follow the procedure to validate the custom domain.

Okay, that means if i buy a domain from blogger itself. I have to buy hosting for the domain again.

I saw that you said you planed on building a blog an waiting till you find a good following before moving over to wordpress, I have some insight. I created my first blog on blogger less than a month ago and already moved it to wordpress and have it hosted by bluehost. Transfering your blog over to wordpress is pretty simple they have plugins that will move everything for you, here's the thing wordpress is a million times different then blogger. The file structure inside wordpress is pretty confusing to get used to even more so if you've put in the time and worked alot of html out in blogger. If this is something your serious about doing I'd suggest just making the switch now, get hosing, your domain and set up wordpress, while its costing you a bit of money in the beginning, it will will give you more reason to log some real time into developing your blog, $ is the motivation.
