    hey guys,

Here is an extremely weird problem I'm having and I doubt its blogslammers fault at all. I scraped a list of say 10k wordpress mu blog hosts. I run it through the autoregister and get 250 activations. Now I used a gmail account and forwarded those activations to a local domain I own that uses squerrelmail POS.

I load the login details details and hit activation and it goes through all 250. I click get blog info and I get 30 blogs? What happened?

I tried manually checking my gmail account and if I click the activation link I get loads of activation invalid. And sometimes 404s and such. Guys any help on this is greatly appriciated. Is this a bad mu hosts or what could I do to fix this issue.

I got this as well. I only received 27 activation emails even though it tried to sign up to a list of around 600.

Out of the 27 only a few actually worked.

I'd like some help with it too.

    Cheers

If you are using a gmail account you might want to try a different account. Domains hosted with GoDaddy are blocking gmail because of the recent attacks on forums using gmail.

This could be running in the background on the sites and deleting you as it sends out the confirmation email. I'm not sure if this filter is in place or not but it doesn't hurt to try a different email account and see what happens. Although I don't think WPMU works well on GoDaddy hosting.

You are having the same problem all blogslammer users have. Because of spam programs like blogslammer, many MU hosts have turned off the email registration or disabled the page. I am lucky to get 50 blogs registered from a list of over 1000 MU's.

You might have to use the semi-automation in blogslammer to get some more registered.
