Hi I was part of a blog network that got hit real bad this month. A bunch of my moderately expensive blogs go deindexed. What can I do if anything to salvage these blogs? I have deleted all posts from them and set to default wordpress.

Is this type of deindexing permanent? Do I need a reinclusion request or can it just "go away" by itself.

I kinda want to keep this on the down low so I don't want to bother with reinclusion requests as I am worried that it will be marked dirty even if reincluded.

Remove them from networks, clean up and redo the design, remove calls-to-action to buy, alter your site's content from being sales oriented to information oriented, remove articles you have or reword them and double/triple the word count, remove ads.

Build your site as though making money was a secondary concern. You'll get put back into index.

I can't find it, but phpbuilt made a thread about someone's site that G destroyed, but he made a comeback.

Honestly there isn't much you can do at this point. Of course it doesn't hurt to try what LakeForest suggested, but then again, it may be a wasted effort.

If anything completely restart with the site, none of the same content, remove yourself from the networks, etc.

Wait a few months, and attempt to get yourself reincluded. Worst case, you can try 301'ng in an attempt to salvage the backlink equity.

I don't really want to invest too much effort into this at all. Will just setting up default wordpress template and "Hello World" post be okay in your opinions?

In my experience they are toast - I have tried a variety of different techniques to get the domains re-indexed without any luck.

Even after cleaning up the sites and filing a re-consideration request - it was rejected. If anyone out there knows how to get the domains re-indexed without losing PR/weight they are sitting on a gold mine.

buy new domains, put them on exactly the same blogs and forget about current, "hurt" domains. The "golden rule" is: when Google banned 100 domains you set up 200 new ones :)

    You can salvage them.
Lakeforest got there first, but he's right.

The site must not be a sales site for it to bounce back, so remove all ads, links, improve content, then resubmit.
