Blogging or making pages with content witch 1 the best

Just want to make a test today, what's the best making blogs online waiting
or
tons of pages in different subdomain free and submitting index pages in "ping"

I have seen each time i submit index page i get visits now.

Go to test and tell you results or if someone have made thousands of pages submit to search engine index pages saw best and quicker results than making blogs every day.
