Hi I would like to know

If you think it is better to create
1 our own blog on our product website, or
2 have a separate blog with different url about our product or
3 write articles on other blogs with good PR with a link to our website (as a author with that link under her)

or do you have any other suggestion for a good - as white as possible link building?

    Thank you

1 and 3. 3rd method is called guest blogging and can do wonders in terms of SEO.

Well you definitely need 1, you own blog or product as it make it look better and professional, the other two are just things you can do to link back to 1 and increase its ranking

if you want to make it white hat, no it's not, at least don't do this for your main site.

Other guest posting on reputated magazines. That's better to authority links for your site.

It is not easy to maintain your own blogs yourself. Only if you have good knowledge about it. 3rd option would be pretty good to go. you will get good link juice, high authority, increase your brand exposure...etc..

No I don't think it is good idea. Because it count as duplicate content and which don't give any benefits I guess.

    you can do this 2
    - you can make own website for your brand first..
    - then you can promote your product website link by link back from other related blog using articles.. this is best idea i think

I would suggest setting up a blog on your current site. You will then want to guest post on other sites to build your reputation and authority!!

Obviously not (reasons stated by other BHW members). However, if the quality is really good and the blog/site is worth the PR, I don't see how it could damage your blog if done in moderation (hey, it's a free organic DF link!).
