ye iam analyzing my competition at the moment and looking at keywords and such.Follow the blogs of competitors and find out the topics they are writing about.
(Usually such hosting companies have one post in common - comparing 3 to 5 hosting services / companies with pros and cons and putting their own company on top as the best one.
what should I do after that? and what about social media got anything for that?

Get the article topic ideas from them. Find the best performing article in their blog and recreate even a better informative article in your blog. This will save you valuable time doing topic research on your own. Of course if you do your own research and come up with your own topics is even more desired.

You can try and find a subreddit same as your niche and go there ask a question like "what's the cheapest hosting i can get" then use another account to answer promoting your hosting something like" this is the xyz cheapest hosting "
