    Hey guys, thanks for taking a look. Here's my story...

    I have this blog at Google's Blogger (blogspot.com) which I put up back in late 2010 (if I'm not mistaken) to experiment and try my hand at Adsense monetization. For about a month, I did some on-site SEO which I've all totally forgotten, and did social bookmarking too, then I sort of lost interest and abandoned the blog. More than a year later, I opened it and thought I'd post some articles to get it going once more. I managed to upload 7 articles, but after a month I got tied up to urgent family matters, so I had to leave the blog again. I was away for quite a while until I thought about the blog early this year, so I went ahead and visited my Blogger dashboard and found Adsense earnings of about $93 there. Yes, $93 in a 3-year period, totally unattended (any promise there? or downright ridiculous?). First thing that came to mind was to post articles to revive the whole thing and get it to go over Google's $100 withdrawal threshold. So I started writing, and up to March 2015 I was able to post 16 articles, doing a bit of on-site SEO (like I used to but which I'm not sure if done correctly to mean anything) and social bookmarking (which all looked spammy to me) on each posting. I don't know, but I strongly feel like I'm not doing things right. Before I created this thread, my Adsense earnings from said blog is $96-something. And it's been pegged there for a while now.

    I'm knocking on the kind hearts of the Adsense experts here, particularly those who've been doing it with Blogger, to help get me on the right track. How do I troubleshoot my situation? What can you recommend?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey hey. Cut my teeth on blogspot years ago a And still make a few bucks a month from forgotten blogspots.

    I don't know your niche or competition so it's impossible to tell you how to make money with your blog. But I can advise a couple of things.

    First off, if you have a few dollars migrate it over to Wordpress. Like now. There is always the possibility of having your blog deleted by Google and that sucks after putting in lots of work.

    If if you can't migrate to your own hosting and want to hit it anyway then write 1000 word articles based on loooongtail keywords. Write write write and they will come and the money will follow.

    Blogger has an Seo section in settings now. Make sure you n0foll0w everything except posts and pages. I think. Lol. Been a while. play with it and search around for "blogspot seo".

    Didn't cover any of the usual on/off page seo that you can find here on BHW from the likes of basstrackerboats, nickflame, phpbuilt, etc... Good luck.

    @Jasonlf

    Not really ready to go Wordpress right now, buddy, so I guess I'll just try to squeeze out whatever I can of my Blogger blog. :) And yea, posting long articles is something I haven't tried, so I'll do just that! Thanks!

    Why not spend half on domain / hosting and other half on some content?

    You can then add stuff like custom plug ins, SEO, auto blogging software.

    So much more you can do on custom hosting.

    @loshannessy

    I'd love to, but I have no available funds for those at the moment. Which is also why I'm determined to reach the $100 threshold so I can withdraw my Adsense earnings and use the money to go Wordpress with own hosting and domain. I just need help nudging my Blogger blog's performance. It's almost there. It's at $96.82 right now.

    Here's a unprofessional idea!
    Tell your friends to click some ads on your blog to help you reach 100$
    [At least you will have that money in your Bank account $$$]

    LOL! That sure is the quickest way to get hold of the funds! But, no, I'm not willing to risk putting it all to waste by cheating. Though some say it's only cheating if it gets caught. Ha ha ha... Which leads me to think, is there a way to not get caught? Just curious...

    I'm sure you know this since you've been here a while but...

    Free Tools: I have had good success with G keyword planner and keywordshitter.com

    I find the highest search volume, high cpc comp, $2+ keywords possible with Keyword planner. Stick those into keywordshitter.com one at a time and let her run for a while. For the longtails (100s-1000s!). Sort those from highest to lowest word counts with a spreadsheet. Start with the longest keywords first. Use keyword in url, title, first sentence of article, and description meta in settings to the right of the post editor. I wouldn't exceed 1 percent density in article as the others in title, url, etc... Count as well. ~1000 words original content per keyword and you can't go wrong for years to come.

    Also free, dragon natural speaking 13 in the downloads area... cause I can't type worth shite!
