If i have long posts, i only want to be visible the first 5-6 rows, the rest of the article should be available after clicking "read more" link or button.

Just add page break after the portion you want it to be cut. I know not all themes do this automatically.

There's quite a neat guide on Google's support page for blogger. Open the below link and you'll see an example with pictures on how to enable this feature. I'm not able to post links, so just replace the * with a . in the address bar of your browser. support*google*com/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=154172

This actually doesn't work with my template apparantly. I inserted the page break but the read more... doesn't appear. Users have to click on the post title to click through which kind of sucks.
