Ok, bear with me for a moment... When you upload an image on Blogger, or in general on a website, the code for it is something like this: Code: <a href="PHOTO URL"><img src="PHOTO URL"/> I know, there is also the alt tag and title tag and whatnot, but this is the important part and the very basic. I wanna keep it simple. My questions are two: 1. In general, should you add a rel="nofollow" to the <a tag? Is that a good SEO practice? So that you don't pass link-juice? Or maybe if your image is hosted on your own domain then it doesn't matter since the link points to your own website anyway? 2. For Blogger, should you do the same thing? I ask because as far as i know the Images uploaded directly on a Blogger Blog are handled by Picasa Web Album, so they are practically hosted on Picasa, so passing link-juice will be passing it to Picasa, i think. So is it wise to insert a nofollow attribute in order to prevent that? Thanks.
