Blogger and Google Trends

Guys,
What steps do i need to take (besides creating a blog) to rank high in google for google trends? does the content have to be completely unique? for example is there's a story already on the net do i need to run it through an article spinner or rewrite and then post ti to my blog? How can i rank high in google quickly for google trends? high search volume and no competition is what im looking for and i need help to get my blog indexed and on the top page in google in a very short amount of time.

any ebooks or advice anyone has for me that already is doing this?

To make it rank high, it's usually enough to bookmark it on digg, delicious, etc. And of course the more unique your content is, the better it ranks.
